About the event

Join us for 2 nights at Camp Grady Spruce. Just dads and their kiddos!  Your registration covers 2 nights of group cabin accommodations and access to all camp activities including archery, riflery, horseback riding, ziplining, canoeing, barge rides, and all the hiking and fishin' you can handle. And of course mallows will be roasted, s'mores will be eaten.

This is a great opportunity to bond with and spend time with your kids. If you spend time just chatting with other parents and working on your cellphone, then your kids will notice. Take this weekend and show your kids you love having fun alongside them. Let loose and put the phones away. This weekend will mean the world to them, especially without an ipad!

A little more detail...

Each cabin (one side of a duplex) sleeps 16, 7 bunk beds and 2 single beds. Each of these cabins have handicap accessible bathrooms as well as a large community bathroom with private toilets and showers. There is a room available for meetings or games or eating. Across the front of the cabin facing the lake is a covered porch. Outside each cabin is a fire circle with a grill and a picnic table.

Food (except s'mores) will not be provided. Once sign ups are final we'll set the cabin groupings and people can either team up on meals or go their own.  It's recommended to grab food on the way out or pick up something easy, like pizza, for friday night.  Breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday is the main thing to plan. Have fun with it!  Then some thing fast and easy before heading out on Sunday.

As the trip gets closer we'll reach out with more detail and suggestions on what to bring. In the meantime, don't hestiate to reach out to a Dads Club board member with any questions.
